The NC40 allows you to input the denomination you are counting so it can calculate the total value of your sorted bills as well as the total quantity. The NC40 counts all currencies at an exceptional 1,600 bills per minute while verifying every bill with 100% accurate counterfeit detection.
The NC40 offers other unique features such as rogue currency detection and automatic/manual start. The add function keeps track of the total counting result across individual runs, the batch counting function is the fastest way to prepare cash drawers/bank deposits and with its top loading hopper it’s perfect for high volume, continuous counting.

Single Denomination Value Counting
The NC40 allows you to input the denomination you are counting so it can display the total value counted, as well as the total quantity counted. No manual calculations, no time wasted.
User Instructions
As with all bill counters, make sure you line up the bills & straighten out folded ones. The bills should be squarely on top of each other and should be placed in the centre of the hopper as shown in the images.
Detections need to be switched off for certain currencies due to the different banknote security features.
Unique High Speed Counting
The NC40 counts at 1,600 bills per minute enabling you to eliminate human error, simplify your cash handling process and save time. Infrared sensors ensure enhanced counting accuracy.
The counting speed is also adjustable to cater for different conditions of bills. You can therefore select between 3 speed settings:
- 600 bills per minute
- 1,000 bills per minute
- 1,600 bills per minute

Exceptional 7-fold Counterfeit Detection
The NC40 automatically verifies your bills, if a counterfeit is detected the NC40 pauses counting and alerts you with a visual and audio warning. Simply remove the counterfeit (last bill on the stacker) and press start to resume counting.
Security features are incorporated into every currency to prevent counterfeiting. The NC40 examines five advanced security features on each bill using the latest counterfeit detection technology:

Batch Counting & Add Functions
The batch counting function allows you to count your bills into batches. Simply input your desired batch quantity and the NC40 will automatically pause counting each time it counts that quantity. Perfect for bank deposits, cash drawers & currency straps.
The add function allows you to add different stacks of bills together. Ideal for keeping track of the total counting result across individual runs. The add and batch function can be used at the same time for maximum efficiency.
High Capacity Top Loading Hopper
The NC40 features an innovative top loading hopper that's easier to use, has a larger bill capacity and allows you to add bills to the hopper while it runs, for continuous counting.
Counts All Currencies With Rogue Currency Detection
The NC40 makes perfect sense, it can count and verify all currencies & denominations. When counting USD, width detection is used to detect different sized bills (rogue currency) that are mistakenly put in your stack. When counting other currencies, it can be used for rogue denomination detection.
Thanks to its high specification sensors, the NC40 can use up to 7 counterfeit detections for any currency. Advanced, fully adjustable counterfeit detection also offers maximum flexibility for future currency technology.
